Our group fitness classes are free to all members and those with daily/weekly/monthly passes.

Simply choose which class you like and turn up on time to train!

The all body strength and conditioning class which offers an all body circuit training which is full of intensity, fun and variety.

TUESDAY

Pilates Balance

is a 60 minute all body conditioning class designed to get you strong in both mind and body. The class brings together the art of yoga, tai chi and pilates and is designed around using your bodyweight as intense resistance in order to stretch lengthen and promote tone into every muscle.

Boxercise

Boxercise combines boxing and exercise to form a fun and stress busting workout. Boxing exercise is empowering women and is getting men back into the exercise studio.

G.A.P

GAP is a lower body conditioning class focusing on resistance exercises which target all of the muscles in the leg, hips and core region.

FRIDAY

Body Power

is a 60 minute all body resistance training workout designed to get you strong fit and super lean. The class is designed around the concept of using light and moderate weights in the forms of barbells and dumbells and focuses on multiple repetitions in oder to increase total body conditioning.

Abs and Stretch

is a class designed to condition your entire core, hips and upper back.The class is a strengthening and stretching class using a variety of fitness equipment such as stability balls, resistance bands and dumbells. You will perform some of the well known exercises such as core planks, sit ups and leg raise as well as other moves all designed to challenge your body.

The great thing about our functional fit class is that no class is ever the same, so expect the unexpected! The classes are intense and will push your body in every way, shape and form.

The benefits of functional fit are endless. Every exercise you perform will target the deeper unit of muscles which main function is to stabilise and support the complete spinal column. This will get you standing taller and stronger and give your physique a better look. Each functional fit class will burn fat, fast! The workouts are designed to increase your metabolic rate over a 24hr period meaning you will be burning more calories until the next day! Every exercise in functional fit will be designed to target multiple muscles at one time, helping you to tone your whole physique. The classes are designed around a long work rate with limited rest period throughout, thus increasing your cardiovascular fitness in a very short space of time

Suitable for

The class is ideal for anyone who wants to get stronger, increase there fitness, look better and move better. Also if you like working in a team then this class will be perfect.

The classes are for all levels of fitness because our highly experienced fitness trainers will be able to modify the class exercises to make them more easy or more intense if needed.

Anyone with special conditions will be advised to talk to the class instructor about the conditions prior to participating in a class

G.A.P CLASS – GAP is a lower body conditioning class focusing on resistance exercises which target all of the muscles in the leg, hips and core region.

The benefits

The exercises performed in the GAP class are low impact exercises using a variety of exercise equiptment such as dumbells, stability balls, bands and your bodyweight to create the right amount of resistance the body needs in oder to firm and tone the targeted muscles. The class will start with a warm up designed to raise your body temperature, warm up your muscles and mobilise your joints ready for the main session. The class is low impact based therefore if you suffer from any special knee conditions we can modify certain exercises to accommodate your needs. The classes always finish with a thorough stretch to make sure the body will recover better from the workout and perform even better next time.

Suitable for

This class is perfectly suited for all levels because of the high skill level of our instructor Mark Anthony, who will be able to modify the intensity of any of the exercises in the class to make sure you are pushing your body in the right way without risking any long term damage. As previously stated this class does not require any super heavy weights and after performing the exercises in the class you will feel muscles working which you have never felt before.

What is Boxercise?

Boxercise combines boxing and exercise to form a fun and stress busting workout. Boxing exercise is empowering women and is getting men back into the exercise studio. It’s a 60 minute full body workout using boxing techniques and skills along with core exercises. Boxercise uses both aerobic and anaerobic systems for cardio health and is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available. Incorporating all the fitness benefits of boxing and boxing training without hitting each other. We use pads, shadowboxing and bagwork so you get the HIIT without getting HIT!

The benefits

Boxercise enhances sports specific senses, including hand eye coordination, balance and timing. It combines the use of both aerobic and anaerobic systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres in a manner that only ensures a diverse workout. It’s a full body workout improving cardiovascular health and endurance. If you stick with these calorie burning sessions you will get tone and definition without the bulk. Boxercise brings all aspects of fitness and health together whilst helping to release aggression and anger in this phenomenal workout.

Helen Metcalfe

Originally from South London in the UK, I now live on the Island of Mallorca. I am a Fitness Trainer, Boxing Coach and a Martial Arts Teacher. I have extensive experience in teaching fitness, boxing techniques and martial arts to men, women and children.
Having always had a passion for fitness when I discovered Martial Arts and boxing it literally changed my life and the way I view exercise. My philosophy is that exercise should be enjoyable and sustainable. It’s easy to incorporate something you enjoy into your life!
My mission is to help clients feel empowered, boosting fitness, skill level and overall wellbeing. Using fun yet intense boxing exercise I will work to a client’s own ability and push them to achieve their fitness goals. the real secret to transforming lives is consistency, after all Rome wasn´t built in a day!

With Body Art-Yoga the focus is centred around the human being as a functional unit. It’s an intense and highly effective combination of far eastern iso­metric and isotonic strength­ening exercises that put this conditioning and relaxation workout in a class of its own. Body Art connects elements from YOGA, physiotherapy, Japanese DO IN and Pilates positions together with classical breathing techniques through a synergy of workout and relaxation.

Through balancing your own body weight and utilizing it as your only resistance, you will achieve a completely new feeling of strength and stabilization.

The goal of Body Art training is to gradually ensure the correct function­ing of the entire body by functional strengthening and stabilisation of all the elements involved with movement.

This ensures correct breathing and therefore increases the oxygen supply to the brain and muscles. An increased coordination of both halves of the brain is developed. Body and mind are merged into one unit; a synergy of physical training and alleviation of physical and mental strength is achieved. This workout-relaxation method is based on the principle of Yin and Yang. During the workout this would mean inhalation-exhalation and strength-relaxation. Each exercise and each position fits together like the pieces of a puzzle and is inter-connected.

Frank-André´s ability to explain and demonstrate simple exercises to greater heights leads the partici­pant to a successful step by step journey to a stronger and more articulate body. Frank-André opens new space for physical and mental boundaries.

BODY POWER –  is a 60 minute all body resistance training workout designed to get you strong fit and super lean. Each workout will burn hundreds of calories and will increase your metabolism for upto 24hrs! The class will be instructed by one of our highly skilled fitness professionals, who will coach you through each exercise techniques whilst motivating you to push through your limits! Each exercise will be worked alongside a specific music track making it easier to control the tempo of each repetition and give you even further encouragement

Prior to the start of the class you will be instructed by the trainer to set up your station. This will involve setting up a step and any weights will will be used for the class.

The class starts with a low impact warm up routine designed to warm up all the muscles and mobilise the joints ready for the workout. After the warm up you will go into the start of what will be a fullbody workout which will burn calories, shape and tone your entire body, increase core strength and improve bone density.

You will finish the bodypower class feeling like you have been pushed much harder than you could if training alone.

Suitable for

This class is suitable for all levels of fitness because the weights can be increased or decreased for each exercise.

Pilates Balance

Pilates Balance –  is a 60 minute all body conditioning class designed to get you strong in both mind and body. The class also focuses on breathing techniques in order to promote a healthier state of well being.

The class will be instructed by one of our highly skilled fitness professionals, who will coach you through a series of movements and stretches to ensure you are getting the best out of your workout, all the time gently pushing your that little bit harder.

Suitable for

Prior to the start of the class your trainer will speak to you if you have any special conditions which you have told them about beforehand.The class starts with a low impact warm up routine designed to warm up all the muscles and mobilise the joints ready for the workout.

This pilates balance class is suitable for all levels of fitness but we advise anybody with any special conditions to speak to the instructor prior to the class starting.

Abs & Stretch

The class is a strengthening and stretching class using a variety of fitness equipment such as stability balls, resistance bands and dumbells. You will perform some of the well known exercises such as core planks, sit ups and leg raise as well as other moves all designed to challenge your body.

The benefits

The class will start with a mobilisation warm up to warm up the core muscles and loosen the spine and hip joint. Every main session will consist of a variety of core and hip strengthening exercises which your instructor will coach you through to make sure you are performing them safely and effectively. The exercise will tone your mid section and help to strengthen the supporting muscles of your spine. The last quarter of the class is dedicated to purely stretching all the muscles of the back and hips.

This class is perfect for all levels of fitness due to the instructors ability to modify the exercises.
