Our high end luxury villa is situated in the beautiful area of Santa Ponca. Just 15 minutes from the city centre of Palma and 5 minutes from golden sea beaches, the villa sleeps up to 14 people. The villa measures 566 square meters and covers two floors. With 8 luxurious bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 3 terraces the villa comes complete with 3 large living rooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, an indoor gym and activity area with table tennis, pool table, trampoline and darts. The stunning outdoor pool is a key feature of the villa where you can relax and recover from your training sessions.

Lloyd Ellett

Former England International and professional boxing champion, with over 10 years experience teaching Boxing Fitness and Functional Training to clients across Europe. Lloyd combines his extensive first hand knowledge of boxing and the professional fitness industry, with his Bsc Sports and Exercise Science Degree to deliver cutting-edge fitness experiences.

Marc Training

Marc Llompart is a local coach of the island specialized in mobility and functional training. Personal trainer in the streets of the island of Mallorca has created a particular way of training, mixing all varieties of possible exercises. The hybrid training is his specialty.

Julia Mander

Julia is a yoga and meditation teacher. She started her yoga career in 2006, in Vienna, Austria. After having lived a few years in California, she had the big chance to study with wonderful, great yoga teachers. Julia aims to inspire, support and encourage all participants of the retreat.

David Gomez

Owner of one of the most innovative gyms in Mallorca, FitClub Mallorca. With more than 10 years in the fitness and sports nutrition industry, David is a qualified personal trainer specialising in Functional and Strength and Conditioning training and advanced sports nutrition.

Bike Ride

Explore the stunning coast line on two wheels

Starting in Palma, we begin our 30km ride and follow the cycle path along the coast to Arenal, taking in the sights of the Palma Cathedral and beaches of Portixol and many more along the way.

There will be plenty of impressive photo opportunities along the way, including Palma Cathedral and endless sea views. We will stop at the picturesque beach town of Portixol on the way back for coffee/refreshments (optional).

Mountain Hiking

Stunning views and great cardio!

We begin in the traditional Mallorcan village of Alaro, making our way up the Serra de Tramuntana and taking in the breathtaking views along the way, stopping for photos, water and snacks along the way up to Alaro Castle.

Presently in ruins, the castle previously occupied the whole of the top of the mountain (Puig d’Alaró, 822 meters high), and is surrounded by extremely high cliffs.
The distance from Alaró to es Pouet is about 7 km and the climb provides some beautiful views of the plain of Mallorca, as far as the city of Palma. But what is truly impressive is the view from the top of the Puig d’Alaro of the valley of Orient and the central portion of the Serra de Tramuntana, with the Puig Major as the backdrop.

From the Castell de Alaro we will then make our way back down to the town of Alaro, stopping on the way to have lunch at the famous Es Verger restaurant, traditional Mallorcan cuisine from one of the finest spots on the island (food at Es Verger not included in package).
A fantastic day trip in Mallorca, where you will experience some history, incredible views and get some amazing cardio training!

Paddle Surfing

A fun, full body workout

A fun addition to the Retreat and an activity you can’t experience everywhere. You will be taken by a fully qualified team and taught how to paddle surf. Not only great fun but a great activity for cardio and core strength…. Not to mention amazing beach views.

Nutrition

We will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner plus snacks and a detox smoothie each day.

Using only locally sourced produce.  All specific nutritional & dietary requirements will be catered for.

Itinerary

Here is where it all begins...

Upon arrival at Palma International Airport, Sunday 23rd June, your transfer will be there to collect you.

The evening will consist of checking into the luxury villa, getting comfortable and a relaxing healthy dinner. Each day will begin with a morning detox juice before heading to the beach or poolside for our first session.

The first training session of the day will start at 9am daily, the second at 1pm and evening yoga/meditation before dinner at 7pm. Between sessions all participants have time to relax in the villa and at the pool, chill by the beach or explore the local area.

Day 1

The first day will begin poolside at the villa with one of our unique, short but intense HIIT Circuits, challenging and most importantly FUN! For the afternoon session we head to the beach for our first boxing skills and fitness training. Post training, we will have an extended time at the beach to eat lunch and relax, before the transfer back to the villa. Our first day of activities will be finalised with a revitalising yoga session and calming meditation.

Day 2

Combine strength and flexibility with mobility training at the beach, building a strong core and foundations for all other exercise. After breakfast at the beach and relaxing after the morning training, we go to the second class of the day, poolside for boxing fitness and build on the skills you learnt on day 1. Evening yoga and meditation will take place at the beach with a relaxing walk to and from the session, before your evening meal.

Day 3

Day 3 will start the day with a mobility and core conditioning class, followed by breakfast at the villa. After some relaxing time the group will have lunch before our first excursion of the retreat as we head out to explore the stunning south coast of the island by bike. This diverse bike ride will begin at the well known Paseo Maritimo, taking in the breath taking views of Palma’s famous Cathedral, where there will be plenty of opportunities to take in the impressive views. Following the Cathedral and old town, we will continue along the coast line, passing through a number of idyllic beach towns, until we reach our half way point at Arenal. Here we will enjoy a well deserved lunch by the sea, before embarking on our return journey, stopping off at the beach town of Portixol along the way for refreshments.

Day 4

Starting at the villa with another unique HIIT circuit, incorporating activities in and around the pool to provide a varied, challenging and fun workout! Explore the local town or beach before boxing fitness by the pool in the afternoon. After some welcome down time, we will take a walk down to the beach for yoga and meditation, where we will remain for our evening meal and sunset, before strolling back to the villa.

Day 5

Day 6

We will start the day with paddle surfing on one of Mallorca’s beautiful beaches on the south coast of the island. Following this, we will celebrate the groups achievements with a healthy barbeque, poolside at the luxury villa before saying farewell to the island.

Anybody not wanting to participate in any of our activities is welcome to relax and explore the island in their own time.

No.  This is your vacation.  You can participate in as many or as few activities as you wish with absolutely no pressure.  If you want to sleep in every morning, read a book and sit by the pool in the afternoon, or turn in early at night, go for it!

Yes. As much as we would love to switch off completely, we understand an internet connection is a must for contact with family and friends and important work tasks!

Our guests come in all shapes and sizes. Our guests come in all shapes, sizes, ages, and workout levels. All of our fitness instructors are able to tailor the workout to provide challenging yet doable exercise.  No stress, no competition, no judgment.  Myo Fitness Retreats aims to provide a supportive environment so you feel comfortable trying new things.

As long as you let us know in advance, we can work with our chef to accommodate all of your dietary needs.

 

Alcohol is not included in the retreat price, but you are always welcome to purchase alcohol locally and consume it during the retreat.

Check in is typically 3pm or later, depending on the policies of the location.  The opening activity on the first day of each retreat begins at approximately 6 pm, so we encourage everyone to arrive in time to participate.  Check out is typically by 4pm, depending on the policies of the location.  We understand that flight times and schedules can be unpredictable, though, so we are able to make reasonable adjustments if your flights fall outside those time periods.

Retreats last 6 nights, typically running from Sunday to Saturday or Monday to Sunday.  If you need to cut your time short a bit, let us know and we’ll work with you.

Definitely. Myo Fitness Retreats often draws people who are traveling alone.  Though you may start out solo, you won’t be alone.  We provide an environment that fosters bonding during the retreat so that you are guaranteed to leave with a whole new set of friends.

Myo Fitness Retreats attracts women of all ages from 20s to 70s with the majority of our guest being in their 30s and 40s.

Of course!  Just let us know in advance and we’ll make sure you are sharing a room. We always have rooms double or 2 single bed rooms available.

We offer a limited number of single rooms on most retreats.  If you are interested in a single room, book early to ensure you will have a space of your own.

We will email you a suggested packing list, specific to the retreat you are attending, upon booking trip.

Renting a car is not necessary.  We will assist in arranging your airport transfers to and from the villa or hotel at your expense, and we will provide complimentary transportation to any excursions during the retreat.  If you anticipate that you will want to go out on your own during the retreat, you are welcome to rent a car and/or we can arrange for a taxi or car service for you at your expense.
